“Salsagate” update

Phil Quin has coined the term “salsagate” to describe Celia’s leaked email. Cue the groans from holier-than-thou liberals.

So far Dave Burgess has picked up the story, with it being run on the front page of todays Dom Post, you can also read it online at Stuff

Radio New Zealand did an interview with Celia on Summer Report this morning, worth a listen.

Wellington.Scoop have done a quick piece on the story, defending Celia and denouncing the leakers.

And Trevor Mallard has also blogged on it.

I’ll be interested to see if Whale Oil covers the story, especially as Celia seems to be his new favourite lefty.

Update: The Herald have also done a piece on the salsagate. They’ve dug a bit into Celia having a go at Leonie Gill’s smoking habit.

  1. So our Celia Wade-Brown doesn’t like the smell of people that smoke. May I suggest to her that she attends to how own personal hygiene issues first before criticising others. It has been noted by several people who have met her or attend meetings with her that she smells due to cycling, a lack of showering and or deodorant.

Being green is all well and good but you need to keep up with the basics of personal hygiene especially for someone who is the mayor of a large NZ city.
