Bits and pieces…

• The Dom Post ran with a front page story on Lonely Planet rating Wellington the 4th coolest capital in the world. Take that Canberra!
• Auckland Transport blog has done a very interesting piece on urban sprawl – which is obviously a far bigger problem in Auckland than in Wellington. Observers of the debate over District Plan Changes 72 and 73 should take note.
• Council is considering a proposal to lower the speed limit in the Kelburn and Brooklyn villages from 50km/h to 30km/h. You can read more, and make a submission, for or against, here.
