This mornings Dom Post is reporting that WCC CEO Gary Poole has ‘cleared’ Kerry Prendergast over last week’s complain from Bryan Pepperell that she was abusing her power as mayor to secure her reelection.
Given the complaint was directed towards the Police, why does Mr Poole feel he has to comment in the first place?
Gary has had a long working relationship with Kerry, and she has rubber-stamped some very substantial pay rises. He’s hardly a particularly impartial judge.
We wait patiently to hear what the Police have to say…
