Incidentally, it was the only televised debate of the campaign – would more of them stimulate voter turnout?

Al was entertaining. I thought the standout was Jack actually, mostly because haven’t seen much of him since its been all Celia vs. Kerry. Jack should run again. Couldn’t believe Kerry’s gaff (much amusement).
What was the gaffe?
Don’t remember exactly what she said, she basically dismissed everyone as ignorant on the subject of water meters IIRC. It was a poor choice of words that provided amusement for the audience.
I think it was along the lines of people who oppose water meters just don’t understand.
