Just quickly, are Gareth Morgan (standing in the Northern Ward) and Michael Fowler (in Lambton) who I think they are?

Gareth R Morgan seems to be some bloke from Newlands – I think the other Gareth lives in Oriental Bay.
No idea about the Fowler guy – the original is in his 80s.
I was surprised to but that is the former mayor standing. I think it’s great he’s standing but he will 81 later this year so not sure whether he can stand the demands of the role over 3 long years.
