Daran Ponter, a Labour candidate for the Wellington constituancy of the Greater Wellington regional council has left a note asking if we will also be covering the regional council elections (and I’m sure it won’t be long until someone asks about the DHB!).
In short, the answer is not really. In the next few days I’ll be putting some information on the candidates page (and I’ll probably do the same for the DHB when I get a chance), but I can’t prmoise the same level of coverage that I’m planning for the council election. Incedentially, the GWRC has a pretty good page with information on current councillors, and it also looks like they will be hosting information on candidates too.
