The Mt Victoria Residents Association and Mt Cook Mobilised are convening joint community events for local residents to meet and question the candidates for the upcoming local body elections. This year there will be two meetings, both held at the Crossways Community Centre in Roxburgh Street:
Local Lambton Ward candidates meeting on Tuesday 14 September at 7:30pm
Mayoral candidates meeting on Thursday 16 September at 7:30pm
Everyone is welcome and refreshments will be provided. There is information on the community website. They are more than happy to provide speaking slots for all comers, providing they let the Mt Victoria Residents Association know they will be attending beforehand – email Kent for more info.
