The Living Wage Wellington candidates forums

Here’s a quick message from the folks at the Living Wage campaign.

Living Wage Wellington is joining with community partners to host some candidate forums (mayoral and wards) to keep the heat on candidates and show they have a mandate to implement the Living Wage. Come along and bring your friends, learn about the Living Wage movement, and show the candidates that fairness matters to Wellingtonians.

MONDAY SEPTEMBER 23

  • 7-9PM at St Peters on Willis, with Bishop Justin Duckworth and DCM Director Stephanie McIntyre

WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 25

  • 1-3PM at The Hub, Victoria University, co-hosted by VUWSA and Generation Zero

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 28

  • 2-4PM at the Pacific Islanders Presbyterian Church, Newtown, co-hosted by Pacific Island faith community

  1. The debate in the hub looks like it’s going to be awesome. A great way to raise participation in uni students. Would have been so much better if we still had the ballot box up there…..
